What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. We are closed for major holidays such as New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Do I need an appointment?
We are an appointment based staffing agency. You are free to complete an application in our office anytime during business hours, however, there’s no guarantee a recruiter will be available to speak with you.

Why do I need a resume?
With such a competitive market, it is important to make yourself stand out from the crowd. A well-formed resume can mean the difference in landing A job or landing THE job. Clients review resumes based on your employment history and skills; it is one of the building blocks we use to ensure we are matching the right candidate with the right skills for the client.
Why do I need to fill out a paper application if I applied online?
Our in-house application provides us with much more information than what is required through our website. It allows us to review work history, reasons for leaving positions, references, skill sets, education, etc. Even if you sent in a resume, the paper application will be required for placement.
I applied online, now what?
After applying online, the application is sent to out to our recruiting team for review. Typically, it takes 24-48 hours for one of our team members to reach out to you regarding your application.
How long does it take to find a job with your agency?
The time frame can vary depending on a number of factors including a number of positions we have in that week, the amount of competition in the marketplace, your skill set, as well as your needs in regard to shift, pay, and location.
What should I expect when I come in for my interview?
Plan at least 30-45 minutes for your interview. There is a short application to complete, then one of our recruiting team members will sit down with you and discuss your qualifications and what you are looking for.
What should I wear to my interview?
First impressions are huge. Dress to impress. Nice jeans, khakis, or slacks are appropriate for an in office interview.
What should I bring with me to my interview?
Make sure to bring 2 forms of identification to your interview as well as a copy of your resume.
What is your policy on hiring people with felony records?
A felony conviction does not automatically exclude you from being hired for some positions. A determination is based upon client policy and the nature of the job.
Are drug screens required for employment through your agency?
You may have to take a drug test depending on client requirements.
Do you provide protective equipment for certain job sites?
If wearing protective equipment is a requirement of the position and the client does not provide the PPE on site, we will provide it for you. However, if the job site requires certain footwear, you will be required to purchase the shoes on your own before beginning work.
What type of positions do you staff for?
We offer a wide-range of positions, generally in the accounting, industrial, warehousing, manufacturing, and administrative career fields. Please keep an eye on our job board for the most up to date listings.
How do I get paid?
Payday is every Friday. Your first check will be delivered to your work-site if necessary.
Can I set up direct deposit or get a pay card?
We offer both! To set up direct deposit we need either a voided check or a direct deposit slip provided by your bank. We can also set up a pay card when you come in to do paperwork. The process may take two weeks, you’ll receive paper checks in the meantime.
Something is wrong with my check, who do I talk to?
Call our office and speak with Brandy, her direct line is (539) 202-8946. If she is busy, you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. She will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
My direct deposit hasn’t come through.
Direct deposits are scheduled for 9 AM every Friday morning. Sometimes your bank will deposit the funds early, it differs by bank and sometimes by week. If it’s after 9 AM on Friday and it still hasn’t been deposited, call Brandy at (539) 202-8946.
Can I request a day off?
Schedule requests need to be made through your on-site supervisor.
How do I call in sick?
You need to call your work-site and our offices if you cannot make it to work for any reason. Not informing both offices runs the risk of being marked as a no-call-no-show for your shift.
Does Barracuda offer insurance?
Yes, we offer two separate insurance plans for your consideration. One goes into effect in the traditional 90 days and the other in 30 days. Please contact our office for more information.
Do the insurance plans cover dependents?
Yes, a spouse and/or your children can be covered under both insurance plans.
Can I change my decision about insurance?
Whether you initially decided to accept insurance or not, you have 30 days after your start date to change your mind. If you wish to change your mind, reach out to Brandy in our office.
I started more than 30 days ago, can I still change my mind on insurance?
Certain qualifying life events allow for a change in insurance to happen. These events include but are not limited to marriage, divorce, birth of a child, and more. Please contact our office for more information and to see if you qualify to make changes to your plan.
How do I get employment verification for DHS, loan agency, etc.?
Have your case worker fax a Verification of Employment form over to Barracuda Staffing at (918) 488-8399. Your signature for the information release will be required on the form.
Do I receive holiday pay?
That is up to the company you are working at, not Barracuda. Ask your supervisor if they pay for holidays.
How long does my contract with Barracuda last?
You are contracted to be our employee for 90 days after your start date. After that, the company you’ve been placed at can take you on permanent at any time but they do not have to. Your supervisor is the one to speak to about when you’ll be taken on permanently.
Do you pay for referrals?
Yes! Receive $25 for every person you refer to us after they complete two weeks of employment with us!
