Job Description

We are currently looking to fill an Automation Programmer position with a Tulsa Company.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years programming controls and logic of automated manufacturing equipment, and will be able to proficiently troubleshoot, repair, and improve system constraints, as well as work closely with maintenance technicians on daily operations and upkeep of equipment. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in hydraulics.

Shift: 1st, Monday – Friday
Starting Pay: $20 – $30 per hour, depending on experience

Automation Programmer Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of Beckhoff programming and Allen Bradley controls software;
  • Capable of completing electrical controls installation, troubleshooting, and repair;
  • Able to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair;
  • Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical Drawings;
  • Experience in 6S and LSS preferred;
  • Experience in equipment condition based monitoring networks a plus;
  • Oracle EAM module experience a plus.

Automation Programmer Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills;
  • Effective communicator able to foster inter-departmental communication;
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift, twist or bending throughout shift;
  • Working conditions may consist of loud noise, exposure to heat, fumes, and bright light.
