Job Description

We are currently looking to fill a Tool & Die Maker / Manual Machinist position for a company in Tulsa, OK.

Ideal candidate will have experience with CAM and CNC Machining experience. Preference will be given to candidates with CNC Programming experience.

Shift: 1st; Days
Hours: Varies
Pay: $17 – $28 per hour; Depending on Experience

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality tooling and fixturing on time as committed to in the Tooling sprint planning process. Set up and operate all tool and die machine tools used in production of fixtures and tooling required to support production.
  • Provide timely and thorough preventative maintenance services per the PM schedule for all production equipment. Maintain a safe, clean, organized and efficient Tool Room.
  • Review all Tooling Designs prior to fabrication to eliminate the possibility of design mistakes. Provide feedback to tool designer that will increase safety, production efficiency, and tool life while decrease tool fab time.
  • Maintain and keep the company assets in good condition to minimize any production downtime. Respond promptly to all breakdowns of equipment and repair as quickly as possible to support production scheduling.
  • When responding to equipment failures document all problems, causes of the failure and the resolution. Confer with the area mechanical engineer if further corrections are needed to eliminate future concerns or failures.


  • Accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working knowledge in a production/machinery environment. Ability to run, set-up and change-over equipment.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot production related problems in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to hear machine operation sounds that may indicate defective parts machine failures, changes in speed and other routine running conditions.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams and schematics to determine proper dimensions and gauges to use is preferred.
  • Experience with various measuring instrumentation such as calipers and micrometers to gauge parts.
  • CAD/CAM experience – Will set up and operate a variety of machine tools using text and graphic information supplied from a CAD/CAM system.
  • CNC Machinist – Capable of programming, setup, and running CNC Mill.
